Antonietta Zito
Antonietta Zito, violin player

Antonietta graduated with the highest honours as a Violin and Viola player at the conservatories in L'Aquila and Bari, Italy.
She attended further enhancement Music courses with P. Pellegrino, M. Ferraris, R. Ricci e M. Paris.

In 1983 Antonietta performed in a concert at the Academy Chigiana in Siena on the Italian TV program called 'Voglia di Musica' (Wish of Music).

In 1984 she won the competition and she was grant for the Apulian Youth Orchestra Formation F. Ferrara and the competition for the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari.

In 1985 she signed on as a violin player in the acting company called Peppe and Concetta Barra. She played for many different performances in Italy and Europe.

In 1987 Antonietta started playing besides the violin as a solo player also as a viola solo player playing in many concerts and performing in many Italian cities such as Rome, Turin, Florence, Bologna, Cosenza, Bari, L'Aquila and in other European cities such as Paris, Lion, Bergen and Geneva.

She performed as First Violin and First Viola in the following Musical groups such as 'I Nuovi Philarmonici', Deltensemble, Schola Cantorum, Cappella Ars Musicalis, Ensemble Pentarte, L'Aquila Chamber Orchestra, The Apulian Solo Group, The International Chamber Orchestra, Pierluigi Da Palestrina, Ensemble Labirinto Armonico, Corelli Chamber Orchestra, Benedetto Marcello and Ars Nova.

In 2006, she pressed two Cds as a unique Viola player with Corelli Chamber Orchestra playing the M. Mascitti Music (four concerts of Opera Septima) and F. Fenaroli Music (Stabat mater and Domine Deus for the first time worldwide premiere).

In 2012 she performed live and was filmed as a first Viola player in the film's soundtrack 'L' Aquila A.D. 2009' at the worldwide premiere of the same film.

Antonietta is currently a chair teacher as a violinist at the Music Conservatory 'L. Refice' in Frosinone.

Caterina Imbrogno
Caterina Imbrogno, pianist

Caterina graduated with the highest honours as piano player, orchestra leader and Chamber Music.
She attended Enhancement Music Piano courses with M. Marvulli, S. Cafaro and R. Filippini regarding composition technique with S. Sciarrino and Orchestra Leader Masterclass with N. Samale in Bulgaria and with the Bulgarian Orchestra of Vidin.

She has always been interested in Ethnic-Music Research, she published Albanian Folk Singing which have allowed her to start a professional partnership with the Professor D. Carpitella in 1987. Professor D. Carpitella is the chair director of the Ethnic-Music Department at the University 'La Sapienza' in Rome Italy. Caterina contributes writing some articles on some national newspapers circulations.

She has also been invited to take part to as a judge of panel in some Piano and Chamber Music National competitions.

In 1986 she performed a Concert in D Major for piano with J. Haydn orchestra at the Royal Festival at the 'Queen Elizabeth Hall’ London UK. She was accompanied by the 'Vivaldi Concertante Orchestra led by J. Pilbery. She went on a tour to Germany in the same year.

In 1997 she was commissioned by the Italian region Abruzzo department to play worldwide some originals music works with the text by A. M. Giancarli with the participation of the Nobel Prize nominee for the poetry M. Theophilo (Brazil).

From 1999 to 2013, Caterina has been Artistic Director for the Music Association 'The New Philharmonic’ and permanent Orchestra Leader which was set up within the same association.

In 2002, she led the fairytale music 'Pierino and the wolf' by Prokofief in collaboration with the Italian actor Leo Gullotta as a acting voice role, besides Caterina performed with Bulgarian Orchestra in Vidin the same year.

In 2004, she led the musical parody in one act 'Frate Cipolla' by F. Mancinelli (Aquilan Composer) in worldwide premiere with the Music Conservatory by N. Rota from Monopoli.

Caterina wrote and created the soundtrack and the music for the film 'L'Aquila A. D. 2009' and the film was performed on 24th April 2012 worldwide premiere in L'Aquila. The film was winner of the Audience Award at the Giffoni Film Festival del 2013.

She is currently teaching piano at the Liceo Musicale (Music College) in L 'Aquila.
